Dr. Phillips is a legend in Central Florida for his impact on the citrus industry in the early 19th century. This house turned venue has grand Victorian rooms and elegant furnishings that create a classic vibe for your event. Your guests will be in awe, when they attend an event in the garden.

Here are some words from new owner, Chef Lo (who also owns the very popular Millenia Catering) and Account Executive, Angie Vann:

After 4 years of being a preferred caterer at the Dr. Phillips House, we saw a decline on the National Historical building built in 1893.  The previous owners had no interest or means in restoring the property.  We expressed an interest and an offer was made and accepted.   

Owning the Dr. Phillips House puts a tremendous responsibility and privilege on our own team because it was embedded with so much history and memories.  Dr. Phillips was a pioneer in the Citrus Industry and his trust continues to make huge philanthropic contributions to better the city and its surrounding communities.  Colonel Peckham commissioned the house as a wedding gift for his daughter.  We wanted to continue that tradition by offering this house to host benefit dinners and celebrate life moments.  We currently work closely with Ronald McDonald house for the Masquerade Ball and The Lovely Project with their "Pappy & Friends" dinner.  

We have invested over $500K on improvements on this property.  The nature of owning a building that is over 126 years old requires a lot of attention to details and maintenance.  We are proud owners and look to continue to beautify this building into the next century.  - Chef Lo

Being a part of this property for over 17 years, I have been able to share in the joy people have experienced from the past and also watch them create new memories for the future.  From a gentleman delivering groceries to Dr. Phillips when he was a boy, multiple seniors that were a part of an organization that lived in the home decades ago reminisce about great times they shared,  to a client’s great grandfather that stood in front of the home the day he arrived to Orlando and dreamed of attending a party with the Phillips family only to have his dream come true.
